Grundomat Piling uses a mobile compressor to drive an air hammer. Flexible hoses allow travel of considerable distances, this is an advantage in areas of limited access.
The air hammer drives one or two metre lengths of pile into the ground. Additional sections are welded in place, once the desired resistance is achieved the pile will be terminated. A central bar of reinforcement is inserted the full depth of the pile and high flow grout is applied inside the pile.
This system Complies with Building Control Regulations and also benefits from a Standard Penetration Test (SPT) read out which determines ground resistance loads.
